Here are three things you can do right now to get ahead.

Think... What do i want to be when i grow up?

There are endless possibilities for careers you can obtain. Begin thinking about your passion and interests and see if there is a career that fits your interest.

start taking more advanced classes

You can take honors and advanced classes in middle school that may count towards credit in high school. This will put you ahead of your classmates and could free up your schedule to take dual enrollment classes, AP Classes, or any other fun class you may be interested in

 

Don't be afraid to take a class that may be a bit more challenging, if your school offers these types of classes definitely take advantage of that. The availability of these classes can vary by school, contact your guidance counselor to help you figure out which class is best for you.

Attend college summer camps
